Local events leading up to MLS All-Star Game

Here’s a quick rundown of most of the schedule of events leading up to next Wednesday’s MLS All-Star Game at Rio Tinto Stadium

Monday

Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Javier Morales meet and greet
From 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. fans who purchased tickets in the KFC Colonel’s Corner at Rio Tinto Stadium will have an exclusive meet and greet with Blanco and Morales.

Tuesday

MLS All-Stars build a playground
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., some MLS All-Stars, Home Depot associates, organizers from KaBoom and local volunteers will be building an entire playground at the Northwest Recreation Center in Salt Lake City.

Soulive concert at The Canyons
From 7 to 10 p.m. Soulive will headline the MLS All-Jam at The Canyons resort in Park city. The free concert will also feature an opening set from Ogden-based band Shaky Trade.

MLS Works All-Star Party
From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. the MLS Works All-Star Party will be held at HarryO’s nightclub on Main Street in Park City with the sounds of DJ Brisk. The $10 cover will benefit the Nothing But Nets Foundation.

Wednesday

MLS All-Star Carnival
From 4 to 7 p.m. the pre game festivities will be held on the East lawn of Rio Tinto Stadium.

MLS All-Star Game
Kickoff for the MLS All-Star Game is set for 7:30 p.m.
