Atiba Harris traded to Dallas

Atiba Harris has been reunited with FC Dallas assistant coach John Ellinger. FC Dallas acquired the St. Kitts and Nevis midfielder today from Chivas USA in exchange for Marcelo Saragosa. Harris had started 13 of 14 games for Chivas USA this year, registering two goals and two assists.

Harris is the second former Real Salt Lake midfielder that Chivas USA has traded away in the past two weeks. Earlier this month it shipped Alecko Eskandarian to the L.A. Galaxy.

Harris will be reunited in Dallas with former RSL striker Jeff Cunningham. FC Dallas makes its only appearance of the season at Rio Tinto Stadium on July 24.
