Real Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis and general manager Garth Lagerwey have been in South American this week scouting potential players for the upcoming season. According to this Orlando Sentinel article one of the players they’re after is 23-year-old Argentine Luis Miguel Escalada.
RSL has had tremendous success with Argentines in the past couple years, and with the departure of the oft-injured Fabian Espindola it makes sense that RSL would try and replace him with another foreigner.
What do you think about the report from the Sentinel? Does this player seem like he might be a good fit?
