OK, Real Salt Lake’s first-ever playoff game is just over 24 hours away, but what are we to expect? Is Saturday’s game a must-win considering RSL’s virtual inability to win on the road this year ‘ even though it did win at the Home Depot Center earlier this season? Tell us your thoughts about how you see this game unfolding, and who you think should be among RSL’s starting 11.

Here’s a few leftover quotes from RSL’s media luncheon on Tuesday, comments that shed a little light on how the players are feeling about their chances.

Kyle Beckerman said the following:
“When you come to this team, it’s not just looking for good players and what you can do on the field. But it’s also looking for good people. What Jason (Kreis) and Garth (Lagerwey) and the coaching staff have brought in here is 28 really good guys and good people. The togetherness we’ve had all season from Day 1 in preseason has been something special. It doesn’t happen like that in a lot of teams. For us to make it happen and get into the playoffs with such a team like that, we all believe something special can happen now that we’ve all arrived in the playoffs.”

Nick Rimando said the following:
“Being with D.C. (United) and going on the road first all the time it was hard. I like that we’re home first in front of our fans and in our stadium. If we can get a goal, if we can get two goals and win this game now the pressure’s on them.”

Chris Wingert said the following:
“We’ve just got to try and raise our level a bit and get back to playing a little sharper. Hopefully we’ll come out and be able to accomplish that. I don’t think there’s any reason we can’t just do that.”
