Deuchar still playing waiting game

Real Salt Lake’s Scottish striker Kenny Deuchar is scheduled to have his U.S. work visa stamped in London today, at which time he can head for the United States to begin his new career in Major League Soccer.

As of 8 a.m. today, RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey hadn’t heard from Deuchar to find out if the process went as scheduled.

Assuming everything goes as planned, should coach Jason Kreis even play Deuchar in this Saturday’s game against Chicago? With probably only a Thursday and Friday training session to get re-acclimated with his teammates and then Salt Lake City’s elevation, is it too big of a gamble to start him or even play him?
