To Chodilicus: To answer your question about Jean-Martiel Kipre, his problem was PKs, like it’s been talked about on this blog from readers before. His speed on the outside was often negated by his penchant for making dangerous tackles in the area. In fact, I’m surprised he didn’t get whistled for more PKs. For a team that was a part of so many one-goal games in 2007, mostly losses, those PKs are extremely costly.
It does seem like they’re a bit short when it comes to true outside backs, especially on the left. RSL is definitely expecting big things from Ian Joy though, so for his sake and the team’s sake hopefully he remains healthy.
