Opening day is 2 weeks away

Real Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis gave a glowing review of his team’s performance at training camp in Argentina recently.

“It was an excellent, excellent trip. From the moment we landed there in Argentina, I feel the guys’ intensity level picked up another notch, all the training sessions were fantastic, the guys worked very hard. We had positive results in every game and a lot of positive soccer in every game,” said Kreis.

The two weeks in South America also gave the coaching staff confidence to forge ahead with the 28 players already under contract. Besides its Singapore trialist, Indra Sahdan Daud, Kreis turned down all other potential trialists in Argentina preferring to focus on building team chemistry with a group that already features so many new faces.
